Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is an Afghani lady born of an Russian father as well as an Hindu Indian mother. She speaks fluently in German Russian and English and also speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru's parents are Russian and Indian. At age 11 she choreographed an act that gained her an appearance on German television as a beautiful Russian snow maiden, who turns into a lively Indian dancer. Following her graduation at New York's high school, she earned her bachelor's in English degree from St. John's University. She was a student of improv and comedy in the Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu Indian mother and a Russian father from Kabul, Afghanistan. Her family relocated from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she was 13 years old. She is a star alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. The actress is most famous for her role as the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. Her other roles included recurring ones in The Following on Fox, The Following as well as NBC's The Blacklist.
